Frequently Asked Questions
About the Workshop
This retreat is designed for dedicated guitarists of all levels, from total beginners to advanced players.
If you love guitar and want to get better, you belong here. With a small group size (max 12 students), everyone gets personal attention and has a chance to learn from both the instructors and each other.
We’ve seen “beginners” ask questions that help advanced players, and we believe that everyone has something to contribute.
There’s no judgment, just patient guidance and a focus on real progress!
The workshop is primarily conducted in English, but I’m fluent in German too and can switch between languages as needed to make sure everyone understands. Oliver (our Austrian co-instructor) is also bilingual, so we can adapt to whatever works best for the group.
Most Austrians speak English well, so you’ll be fine getting around locally.
Travel & Logistics
Linz Airport (LNZ) – Yes you can fly to Linz! However, keep in mind that you’ll probably be transferring at a hub airport like Frankfurt and this could add extra hassle.
Vienna Airport: This is my personal favorite, because it is easy to get a train right from the airport, and the flights are usually direct.
Take the train from Vienna Airport to Pregarten (you will transfer in Linz) and we can pick you up. Or from Linz you can take taxi (about €30-40). We will help you sort this out.
Do I need to rent a car?
Not necessary!
Public transport and taxis can get you to Pregarten (the seminar center is a few minutes away fron Pregarten).
However, a car gives you flexibility to explore the beautiful Mühlviertel region. I can provide specific transport recommendations when you register.

Practical Questions
Don’t forget – if you are traveling internationally you may need some EU plug adapters.
If you prefer to practice indoors, the best place is in your private room since the 2 seminar rooms might be occupied with lessons or coaching.
